# MoneyTools x402 Paid-Endpoint Liveness Index

> Which x402 pay-per-call endpoints are actually up? We probe endpoints listed in public x402 catalogs (Coinbase Bazaar, PayAI, Dexter, Ultravioleta) without paying and record whether they answer a valid HTTP 402 with parseable payment terms, plus price, network and latency.

## Methodology
- notUsed: x402scan (its data API is itself paid via x402; we never pay endpoints or data sources)
- probe: Unpaid HTTP GET (or POST with body {} when the catalog says POST), no payment header, max 2 redirects, 7s timeout. Live = HTTP 402 with parseable, well-formed x402 payment terms (verdict ok or warn) and payTo not on the OFAC SDN crypto-address snapshot.
- schedule: Cron every 10 min: one catalog page (50 items) + up to 10 probes, max 1 probe per host per run; each endpoint re-probed at most every 6h when live, backing off to 12h/24h/48h when not.
- politeness: User-Agent: MoneyToolsIndexBot (+https://moneytools.dev/index/). robots.txt is honoured (group MoneyToolsIndexBot, else *). Opt out: Disallow in robots.txt or email support@moneytools.dev.
- caveats: Liveness only: a valid 402 does not mean the paid response works or is worth the price. Catalog entries are capped at 25 per host and 4000 total. MoneyTools' own services are excluded. Listing is not endorsement. Not financial advice.
